The Industry Development of Low Voltage Electrical Appliances
The Industry Development of Low Voltage Electrical Appliances
Low voltage electrical appliances are components or devices that can manually or automatically connect and disconnect circuits based on external signals and requirements, in order to achieve switching, control, protection, detection, transformation, and regulation of circuits or non electrical objects. Control appliances can be divided into two categories based on their operating voltage: high voltage control appliances and low voltage control appliances, with AC 1200V and DC 1500V as the boundaries. In general, low-voltage electrical appliances can be divided into two categories: distribution appliances and control appliances, which are the basic components of complete electrical equipment. In the industrial, agricultural, transportation, defense, and human electricity sectors, most use low-voltage power supply, so the quality of electrical components will directly affect the reliability of low-voltage power supply systems. The development of low-voltage electrical appliances depends on the development of the national economy and the needs of modern industrial automation, as well as the research and application of new technologies, processes, and materials. They are moving towards high performance, high reliability, miniaturization, digital modeling, modularization, modularization, and component generalization.
Enterprise Industry Development
The low-voltage electrical industry in China has evolved from simple assembly and imitation manufacturing to self-developed design, with nearly 1000 series and around 1500 production enterprises, with an annual output value of approximately 20 billion RMB. However, the scale of domestic low-voltage electrical equipment production enterprises is relatively small and the quantity is too large, with over 90% of enterprises engaged in repeated production of medium and low-grade products. Three generations of products coexist. According to the output value, the market share of the first generation product is 15%, the market share of the second generation product is 45%, and the market share of the third generation product is 40%. According to the national policy direction, the structure of low-voltage electrical products needs further adjustment in the coming period. Products with outdated technology, large volume, high energy consumption, and environmental pollution will be eliminated.
The situation of the "three pillars" of state-owned, private, and foreign-funded enterprises in the low-voltage electrical industry in China has been going on for many years. ABB、 International electrical companies such as Siemens and Schneider Electric have all entered the Chinese market and are actively expanding into the domestic middle and low-end markets while occupying the high-end product market. With the globalization of the market, the mutual penetration between foreign-funded enterprises and domestic enterprises is another inevitable trend in the development of the low-voltage electrical industry. This penetration includes the infiltration of high-end products from domestic enterprises into foreign markets; The products of foreign-funded enterprises will penetrate into the domestic middle and low-end markets. However, in terms of the domestic market, foreign-funded enterprises have strong R&D, design, and management capabilities, while domestic enterprises, especially private enterprises, although have flexible business ideas and strong sales channels, have varying strengths and weaknesses in terms of enterprise scale, product quality, and other aspects, and their design and R&D capabilities still need to be strengthened. National and local governments should actively encourage enterprises and industrial clusters to extend their industrial value chains, support low-voltage electrical equipment enterprises to develop in the direction of "specialization, refinement, and uniqueness", and form several distinctive and key industrial chains, thereby driving industrial upgrading.
